京都伏見でタデアイの栽培から蒅造り、藍染めを一貫して行なう。
蒅(すくも)、灰汁、貝灰、ふすま(小麦の外皮)のみを使い、「天然灰汁発酵建て」という日本古来の藍染技法を用いる。
